Loops Fest 2018: Exhibitor & Vendor Registration

Exhibitor and Vendor Registration is now open for Loops Fest 2018!  The registration window closes on Friday, August 31.

The Loops-A-Palooza Community Cycling Festival, or Loops Fest, is a Capital City Century Weekend ( event organized by Springfield Bicycle Club. It will be held on Saturday, September 8 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Shed on the Illinois State Fairgrounds.

Loops Fest is a bicentennial celebration of cycling and the progress we've made locally toward being bicycle friendly. Last spring, the City of Springfield received national recognition as a Bronze Level Bicycle Friendly Community, and the Governor's Office designated our Capital City Century Weekend as the kickoff for a signature Bicentennial event, the 7-day Prairie Heritage Ride (

SBC's Capital City Century draws 700+ riders riders annually to ride the Classic Century on the Sunday after Labor Day, which this year is September 9. Loops Fest is an expanded version of the Saturday night Packet Pickup Party held the evening before the Century, which is attended by many riders.

Loops Fest will be held in The Shed, a premiere venue provided by Department of Agriculture. The layout will be the same as the Illinois Products Farmers Market on Thursday night, with which many area residents are familiar. The  festival features food trucks, bicentennial beer and wine, live music by the Loops band  on the Lincoln Stage, and bicycle-themed exhibits and vendors.

Given these factors, we anticipate good attendance. We have room for over 20 exhibitors and vendors inside, and limited space for pop-up tents outside. We expect available slots to fill up before the August 31 deadline, on a first-come, first-served basis.
