GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE CSCC

Route 3

Date Announced:  July 27

Deadline for Submission:  July 16

You can cycle the CSCC rides on your own time. Ride with friends and family (safely social distancing, of course) or on your own, just as long as you are riding and having Cycling Challenge fun along the way!

How to Submit a Route: Complete the CSCC by simply taking a photo or screenshot at the end of your ride of your preferred tracking system (Strava, MapMyRide, Ride With GPS, etc.) and uploading your image to the specific event on the Club’s Facebook Page or emailing your mileage to the Club’s Record’s Keeper at  records@spfldcycling.org. Information must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on the deadline noted above.

How to Submit a Photo: In addition to getting out on your bike, help us fill our Facebook page with photos you have taken along the way on the CSCC. We want to see photos of those who are out riding (safely and distanced, please!) on the rides. Submit your photos on each week’s Facebook event page or email them to  photos@spfldcycling.org

Awards:  One random participant will be drawn from each mileage distance for each challenge ride who submits their rides either on Facebook or via email, and each will be awarded a $25 gift certificate to a local bicycle shop. Winners will be announced at the SBC Summer Picnic on Saturday, August 15 (if the pandemic allows).

Who Can Participate: The CSCC is open to Club members and non-members alike. Only Club members are eligible for the bicycle shop gift certificates. Non-Club members will be entered to win an individual SBC membership. If your membership is not current, to renew you can go to  https://www.spfldcycling.org/content.aspx?page_id=9&club_id=300348 or encourage others to sign up. If you have questions about your membership status please contact Ted Sunder at  secretary@spfldcycling.org. He is ready to check your membership status, guide you in obtaining membership, or assist with renewal.

For more information on the COVID Summer Cycling Challenge, be sure to check out the event on our Facebook page or on our webpage ( https://www.spfldcycling.org/content.aspx?page_id=22&club_id=300348&module_id=405294).
