Finding the Right Ride
Joining a group ride for the first time can be intimidating. If you have questions about a ride and are wondering if it's a good fit for you, please reach out to the ride leader listed on the ride description.

Ride Leaders needed!
Do you have an idea for ride and would be willing to serve as a ride leader? There's always a need for ride leaders, whether you want to lead a ride every week or just a one-time event.  Please contact Scott Sievers or Troy Gilmore to indicate interest.
Monthly Awards April 2022

Thanks for all who took the time to fill out the April survey! Results are as follows:

Ride of the Month:
Steve Schroll's Hilly B Ride
Thursday, April 14, 8 AM
Nominated by Larry Stone

B-level ride that starts in Stuart Park and goes to Petersburg. The route changes from time to time, but the focus is on riding hills. Distance is approximately 45 miles.

Almost Anything Award
Teresa Moody and Libby Shawgo
Nominated by Bob Coady

"Both Teresa and Libby volunteered to man the tent at the Open Streets event on May 14th at the Old State Capitol Plaza. Upon arriving at the SBC storage unit they discovered a malfunctioning door that would only open about a foot. Rather than moving on, leaving the materials behinds, they crawled underneath and brought the materials out piecemeal, making the Club's representation at the event a success. Similarly, they went spelunking into the unit to return all the materials at the end of the event. I believe that this example of volunteerism is above and beyond what is to be expected..."

Ride Leader of the Month Award
Bob Coady
Chosen by random drawing at the board meeting
